ORDERING POLICY
Payments/Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and begin the design process. Your order is not considered booked until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due one week before your scheduled pickup, delivery, or shipping date. Orders that are not paid in full by the due date may be subject to cancellation.
Rush orders requested within 72 hours may be accepted based on availability and will be subject to a 20% to 30% rush fee.
Design
Custom cookie designs are created based on the details, colors, themes, and inspiration provided at the time of booking. I will do my best to bring your vision to life while maintaining my own creative style.
Minor design adjustments may be made to ensure the design works well for cookies. Last minute changes may require an additional fee.
Please note that handmade cookies are individually decorated, so slight variations from reference photos or cookie to cookie are natural and part of the charm of custom cookies.
Cancellation/
Refunds
Because custom orders require preparation, supplies, and time reserved specifically for your event, deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds for any remaining balance will be considered based on how far along your order is in the production process.
Once cookies have entered the decorating or production stage, the remaining balance is non-refundable.
If Baked by Ciera must cancel an order due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified as soon as possible and any eligible payment will be addressed accordingly.
Allergies
Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before placing your order. Our cookies are made in a kitchen where common allergens may be present.
Our products may contain or come into contact with wheat, milk, eggs, soy, nuts, peanuts, and other allergens. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from allergens.
For customers with severe food allergies, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss your options.
Shipping Policy
Our decorated sugar cookies are carefully packaged to help ensure they arrive safely and beautifully. Orders are shipped Monday–Thursday to help prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend. We recommend placing shipped orders with enough time before your event, as shipping delays can occasionally occur.
While we take great care when packaging your cookies, we are not responsible for cookies that are damaged or broken during shipping. Because of this, refunds or replacements will not be issued for cookies damaged during transit. We are also not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, or circumstances outside of our control.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information so you can monitor your package’s progress.

Prices listed on the website are subject to change. Custom orders are priced based on factors such as design, quantity, size, complexity, packaging, and delivery or shipping requirements.
A deposit may be required to secure your order or event date. Additional payment terms are outlined in our Ordering Policies.

All content on this website, including photographs, videos, graphics, logos, written content, recipes, designs, branding, and other materials, belongs to Baked by Ciera unless otherwise stated.
